Financial inclusion is more than just access—it is about breaking barriers and building resilience to create lasting economic opportunities for women. Across Africa, women remain key drivers of economic growth but continue to face systemic challenges in accessing financial services.
At Advansio, we believe that technology and innovation are fundamental to closing this gap, and we are committed to building financial solutions that empower women and drive economic growth. More than that, we lead by example—women hold key leadership roles across various units within our organization, ensuring that diverse perspectives drive our mission forward.
Advansio at the She’s Included Conference
Last week, the Advansio team had the privilege of participating in and sponsoring the She’s Included Conference, themed “Breaking Barriers, Building Resilience for Sustainable Women’s Economic and Financial Inclusion.”

The event brought together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to discuss strategies for advancing women’s financial and economic empowerment. One of the most inspiring moments for us was the opportunity to share Advansio’s impact and vision directly with the Vice President of Nigeria, reinforcing the critical role of technology in financial inclusion.
How Advansio is Driving Change
At Advansio, we don’t just talk about inclusion—we build and implement solutions that make it a reality. Here’s how we are actively bridging the gender gap in financial services:
1. Delivering Inclusive Financial Solutions
Through platforms like Covr Branchless and Onebuxx, we enable financial institutions to expand their reach and provide women with secure, accessible, and efficient banking, payment, and credit solutions.
2. Powering Financial Access Through Strategic Partnerships
As SANEF’s exclusive technology partner, we built the interoperable platform that SANEF agents across Nigeria use to provide financial services to underserved communities, including women. This platform plays a critical role in expanding access to banking and financial solutions, ensuring that women, especially those in rural areas, can participate fully in the financial ecosystem.
3. Collaborating for Greater Impact
We understand that financial inclusion requires a collective effort. That’s why we actively partner with financial institutions, regulators, and development organizations to design and implement scalable, sustainable solutions that empower women financially.

4. Innovating for a Sustainable Future
We continuously develop new technologies and initiatives that remove the barriers preventing women from fully participating in the digital economy. By doing so, we ensure that women have the tools and resources to build financial resilience and contribute meaningfully to economic growth.
A Shared Vision for Inclusive Finance
We extend our appreciation to the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Office of the Vice President for championing initiatives that support financial inclusion for women. A special thank you to Mrs. Uche Uzeobo of SANEF for her unwavering dedication to this cause.

At Advansio, our vision is clear—to build a financial ecosystem that leaves no one behind. We remain dedicated to breaking barriers, leveraging innovation, and fostering meaningful collaborations to drive true economic and financial empowerment for women.
Together, we can create a future where women have equal access to financial opportunities, enabling them to thrive, grow, and lead economic transformation across Africa.
